I am a young man living in the United States. I do not have any children, and I lead a simple life so that I have time to nurture myself. I am working to fully connect with my experiences of growing up in an abusive family that was very much a part of the wider abusive society.

If you have an appetite for honest reflections on the emotional dynamics of ordinary families and social relations, or if you have some curiosity as to why our world today is so disturbed but can’t quite bring yourself to accept the standard hand-waving clichés about “human nature,” then this blog is for you. I’m writing a book about the subjects explored here. When the book is finished I’ll make a post announcing it.
